Passionate, Qualified, Dedicated, and Loving, Little Bloom Academy teachers share the same joy of working with young minds and go above and beyond in order to support every Childs growing needs.

Our goal is to provide a second home to your children where they can express themselves freely and be who they were born to be. We are a tight knit community who share common values and philosophies. We believe the success of the child begins with the relationship of caregivers and parents which then gives the child a voice as well. Our teachers are dedicated their development as much as they are to their students. All teachers are required to attend monthly meetings and year round trainings.

EMILY QUINTERO

Director/Owner

Hi, I'm Emily Quintero and I am the Director/Owner of Little Bloom Academy. Prior to opening my business I was employed as a preschool teacher for two years and I knew I found my purpose so I decided to open a diverse bilingual preschool. I do what I do for the benefit of our youth that is diverse and not one size fits all. Our school is meant to feel like a second home to your child where they can be themselves and be loved for who they are! Our goal is not to mold the perfect child, our goal is to celebrate everyone for who they are and provide a nurturing environment that promotes growth.

I currently hold an Associate degree in

Early Childhood Education (ECE) from Merritt college and am currently attending East Bay to complete my B.A in ECE. I am also a certified nutritionist recognized by NASM.

Certifications:

EMSA-certified Pediatric First Aid & CPR.
EMSA-certified Preventive Health Practices.
Training for Mandated Reporting

I have spent more than half of my life caring for young children (babies included) and although I do not have any of my own, I hope to raise a family one day. My love for child development began early on and I enjoy watching all the littles grow (although it makes me super emotional).

When I'm not teaching You'll find me: Lifting heavy weights, Eating, Caring for plants, spending time with family, Meditating and Reading .
